3. Technology based Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP):

CED will conduct six week Technology based Entrepreneurship Development Programmes in the following sectors and venues:

CED will associate with the relevant technology institutions for providing hands on training to the prospective entrepreneurs.  For the IT entrepreneurs the training will be given in the CED - IT Incubator Centre.  The Fashion Garment Entrepreneurs will be trained at NIFT-TEA College of Knitwear Fashion, Tirupur.  The Tourism Entrepreneurs will be trained by CED in association with Tourism Promotional Agencies in Madurai Region.  For further details, please contact:

4. Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP):

CED will conduct three general Entrepreneurship Development programmes during the current year 2008 – 2009 in the following places in Tamil Nadu:

5.Faculty Development Programme (FDP):

Government of India is promoting Entrepreneurship Development Initiatives in the colleges by establishing Entrepreneurship Development Cells (EDC) through grant-in-aid support from AICTE, Department of Science and Technology, etc.  However, such initiatives will require faculty members with Entrepreneurship orientation to counsel and guide the students on Entrepreneurship / Self employment.  CED will conduct the two-week residential Faculty Development Programme (FDP) taking around 20 – 25 faculty members in Madurai Region.  For further details, please contact:
