| 4. Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP): |
| |
CED will conduct four general Entrepreneurship
Development programmes during the current year
2011 – 2012 i.e. two at Sivaganga and one
each at Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari Districts. |

The EDP will be conducted for a
period of four weeks and prospective entrepreneurs
proposing to establish ventures in any sector may
join the EDP and can be benefited. |

| 5.Faculty Development Programme (FDP): |
| |
Government of India is promoting
Entrepreneurship Development Initiatives in the
colleges by establishing Entrepreneurship Development
Cells (EDC) through grant-in-aid support from AICTE,
Department of Science and Technology, etc. |
| |
However, such initiatives will
require competent trainers to counsel and guide
the students on Entrepreneurship / Self employment. |
| |
CED is conducting two-week Faculty
Development Programme (FDP) in Entrepreneurship
taking around 25 – 30 faculty members in
each batch. CED has trained more than 600
college teachers and NGO professionals through
such FDPs. |
