CED is managed by a trust board consisting of eminent persons who are renowned academicians, retired bureaucrats, industry experts, etc. Currently, the following persons are guiding CED as trustees:
Dr.M.Lakshmanan is a well known micro biologist and served as a Senior Professor of Biological sciences of Madurai Kamaraj University. He served as the Vice Chancellor of Madurai Kamaraj University. During his tenure as Vice Chancellor of Madurai Kamaraj University, the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (Tamil Nadu) was established as an autonomous institution of Madurai Kamaraj University. Subsequently, the centre was de-linked to function as an independent institution and as an NGO.
Mr.R.Dharmar
Mr.R.Dharmar is basically a Cost Accountant and started his career with Madura Coats Limited, Madurai. He is an MBA from Madurai Kamaraj University and a well known expert in the field of Textile Costing. From a humble level of Manager, he rose to the level of President of the Industrial Textiles Division of Madura Coats Limited, Madurai. The Industrial Textiles Division and the company attained its maximum profitability during his tenure as the President. After his retirement from Madura Coats Limited, he served as the Director of the MBA department of Fatima College, an autonomous institution affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. He is currently involved in Textiles consultancy..
Dr.R.Jayaraman
Dr. R. Jayaraman, who is currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship Studies, Madurai Kamaraj University is the founder Member Secretary of Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (Tamil Nadu). He served as the Syndicate Member of Madurai Kamaraj University as a nominee of His Excellency the Governor of Tamil Nadu during the period 1994 – 1997. He has introduced a number of innovations in Higher Education and his responsible for introducing Entrepreneurship as a compulsory subject in Management Education and also in vocational courses.
